Fans Of Jimmy Century

ABOUT FOJC

Brash Blog writes... "Great bands not only create great music, they create their own worlds. Welcome to the extraordinary stand out world of Fans of Jimmy Century...influences from the likes of Prince, Bowie, Queen, and beyond."

Originally from Oakland/San Francisco CA, Las Vegas-based AWAL/Sony Music artist Fans of Jimmy Century is the modwave, modsquad genre-bending duo of vocalist|voice actor Alicia Perrone and bassist|producer|video director Victor James. Chicago-born drummer Mike Long now tours and records with FOJC full time.

FOJC’s “Va Va Voom to the Moon” is now playing on Netflix’s Top 10 hit show “Emily in Paris.” Media giant Pop Sugar feat. their video and quoted "Emily in Paris Season 2 soundtrack is full of French cool-girl vibes... including Fans of Jimmy Century."

FOJC's newest album “Modern Inferno” feat. their cover of Sponge’s “Wax Ecstatic,” is now in major rotation at radio stations throughout the world and hit #11 on the Worldwide alternative charts via Digital Radio Tracker. Their icy villainess-styled version of “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” also saw viral popularity with TikTok influencers and resulted in an offer from livestreaming agent Fame Talent Agency to represent them.

Their next release scheduled for 2024 is the “Holiday Spirits” album with majority of original Halloween songs plus various Christmas songs. They will tour a specialty holiday production show in support of the album in 2024, starting with a residency in Las Vegas.

250 Film/TV sync placements including:
Netflix’s hit Emily in Paris, WB's Get Hard, The NBA, Ray Donovan, Law and Order: SVU, Gossip Girl, The L Word, Finding Nemo, Hall Pass, Bad Teacher, Housewives of NYC, Snapped, etc.

FOJC is inspired by genre-bending, creating characters/alter egos to match their songs’ vibes/videos. The 70s-inspo prank music video helped push their song "Best of My Generation" to become an iTunes-charting single and an NBA featured song for Giannis (The Greek Freak.) That song was a stretch from the vampy, villainous “All My Friends Are Ice Queens." The contrast between their songwriting and delivery began their obsession with genre-bending and creating their own unique world of characters on the fringe of the status quo. FOJC’s YouTube and branding focuses on music, comedy commentary from pop-up characters they create, and making fun of pop culture aka slop culture. Their most popular characters "ClitandToris... your favorite elites" will soon debut their late night online TV show styled after the Tonight Show... "The E-Late Show."

FOJC also performed in the biggest livestream concert of all time, the iVoted Election Night Festival, as the top trending artist in the swing state of Nevada in both 2020 and 2022 and were asked to host the highly anticipated Grammy nominees dinner and pre-party in Las Vegas at their home in April 2022.

Their previous group Simon Stinger, was in the process of signing to Elektra (before the label folded) with their mentor, Senior A&R and rock star vocalist of The Cars, Ric Ocasek. FOJC re-launches their popular residency live production show “Fatale Originale” on the LV strip southside in 2023.
